Cy Claussen, county surveyor, who had the job of surveying the two most suitable
sites for the proposed new Taylor county airport, reported yesterday morning to
the county board.
He told of his visit Tuesday to Madison and his conferences with Engineer F. W.
Sawtelle and the chief engineer of the state planning board.
The two sites still under consideration are: The one east of Stetsonville, 1 ½
miles at the Klimeck farm on the north side of county trunk A; and the one a
mile north of Stetsonville on 13 and just east of the Henry Schlais tavern.
