Mrs. Peter Harry died at her home in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Wednesday, Dec. 20th, 1916, of paralysis.

Frances Young was born at Two Rivers, Manitowoc Co., Wis., April 26, 1854. She was married to Peter Harry at that place April 20, 1873; they came to Clark County in 1877 and settled on a farm in the town of Beaver and in 1891 moved to the farm in the town of Unity. They came to Colby in 1901.

Those who survive are her husband and the children, Mrs. Matt Schramm, Chicago; Mrs. W.E. Morgan, Unity; Mrs. Jos. Tennis, town of Unity; William, town of Colby; Mrs. A.F. Groelle, Unity; Peter J., Minneapolis; Mrs. Wm. Will, Mrs. Math Orth, Alma, Louis and Emil of this city, all of whom were here to attend the funeral. An infant son died twenty-two years ago.

Vain is any attempt to measure the loss of a mother to her family; outside of heaven there is no love like mother-love. We know that years hence the memory of her unselfish devotion will be a guiding star to those she leaves behind.

The funeral was held Saturday, Dec. 23, at 9:30 a.m., from St. Mary’s Church in this city, Rev. H.J. Artmann officiating, and was largely attended by relatives and friends.
