She has been a member of the Baptist Church of Richmond, which held services at Genoa Jct., in the Congregational Church, since she was baptized in the Nippersink 64 years ago.
She passed away from her earthly to her heavenly home on Jan. 24, 1917, at 6 o’clock p.m., at the age of 93 years, 5 months and 17 days. She leaves 90 descendents still living, 7 children, 32 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides this number of direct descendants, there still survive one sister and brother and numerous other relatives.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Congregational Church at Genoa Junction and she was laid to rest on the hill. Six of her grandsons acted as pallbearers.
