Frances was a member of Holy Apostles Church in New Berlin, St. Peter’s in East Troy and for the last 74 years, St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago. She was a member of Christian Women’s Society and became a charter member of the Secular Franciscans of St. James in 1953. Now transferred to Portciuncula Fraternity in Franklin. She recently received an award for 60 years of service to American Legion Auxiliary Post 375 of Mukwonago.

She brought laughter to the East Troy & Mukwonago Senior Clubs for 20 years as the Storyteller. She was an Income Tax Preparer & Bookkeeper for 50 years. She loved spending time with family, gardening, friendships & playing Sheepshead.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at St. James Catholic Church (830 County RD NN East, Mukwonago) from 10 a.m. until 12 noon with Mass to follow at 12 noon. Private burial at Woods National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. James Catholic Church appreciated.

To All, Having read the "Prayer of Saint Francis" you can see what that prayer meant to her! Sixty four years ago she took a vow to join the Secular Franciscans to follow the Saint who was given the 5 Sacred Wounds of our Lord. His Friars loved him but also nicknamed him "The Fool" because of his joy and great sense of humor. She always enjoyed a story and many a time made a fool of herself. For 20 years she was the Storyteller for the East Troy and Mukwonago Senior Clubs, always ending her stories with KEEP SMILING!
