Rahm, August (7 March 1883 - 17 Sept. 1967)

August Rahm, 84, Route 2 Spencer, died Sunday night, September 17, 1967 at the Bethel Convalescent Home in Arpin where he had resided for the past two years.

Services will be conducted at 2p.m. Wednesday at the Jasperson Funeral Home in Spencer with the Rev. A.M. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will be in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Mr. Rahm was born March 7, 1883, in the Town of Sherman, Clark County, and resided there his entire life. His marriage to Hattie Schroeder, who preceded him in death in 1941 took place Aug. 9, 1913 in the Town of Sherman.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Alma) Osterbrink, Minocqua; Mrs. Marvin (Emily) Sutliff, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Walter (Ada) Thiede, Marathon; two sons, Walter, Wilkerson, Ind.; and William, Spencer, 16 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, three brothers and four sisters.
