Jesse Rowe, a nine year old son of Wm. Rowe, got rather seriously hurt the 22nd, while at play at school. He was hit on the head with a ball club, which made him unconscious for a time. He is reported to be able to sit up. It came near killing him.
Rev. J. Jefferson and Mr. Edmonds, of Greenwood were down to our town on business pertaining to the coming camp meeting to be held here beginning the last Tuesday in June.
The Good Templars are going to hold a pink tea supper on June 13th and a good time is expected.
