WILCOX

Died of old age, October 8th, Mr. George Dunn, father of Albert Dunn. He had lived with his son for the past two years. He was past 84 years of age. The deceased was buried at York Center; sermon by Rev. J. Connors.

Mr. William Smithers and wife returned home last Saturday from Iowa and Minnesota, where they had been visiting friends.

W. Trobridge, of Plymouth, Sheboygan County, is a guest of Rowe & Lawrence, our merchants. He is hunting timber.

Vet Pease, Jr., has taken Mrs. Edna Lawrence’s place for three years.

William Rowe is building a wing on his house.

Al and Bert Lawrence and D.R. and N. Rogers, started this morning for Taylor County to hunt deer. We suppose we shall soon have a supply of dear meat.

Al Garvin has a job clearing the right-of-way for the railroad in our town.

Dan Davidson, who has had a job on the Central in Loyal, has quit for dry weather.

The happiest man in our town is Ed Bailey. The cause is a 9-1/2 pound boy, born the 12th. Mother and son are doing well.
