Amos Fulwiler cut his foot quite bad last week, so he is laid up for the present.

Eddie Fulwiler came very near losing one of his fingers while at play with a feed cutter.

George Lindsley received a dispatch, and later a letter, that their son, E.H. Lindsley, was getting better.

C.H. Benedict was brought home from Loyal last Friday quite sick with la grippe. He is getting out again.

A. R. Benedict, of LaCrosse, spent Sunday with his parents. He was on his way to camp on the east fork to cook in one of Paul’s camps.

Harry Philpott of Loyal preached to the people of the Center last Sunday.

William Rowe is laying floor and putting in more seats in the school house in District No. 1.

Dan and Lew Davidson start this week for a trip up in the northern country to look up land.
