E.H. Lindsley returned to Evanston last week to resume his studies which were interrupted by typhoid fever.
Last Thursday, the 15th, Solomon Beach was found dead near his barn where he was doing chores. He had seemed to feel unusually well that morning. His wife died last June, nearly as suddenly. His funeral was held at the M.E. Church on the 17th. Sermon by Rev. T. Van Buren.
S.D. Gibson, our town treasurer, is reported quite sick with quinsy.
Miss Emily Smithers had a severe attack of inflammatory rheumatism. Dr. Lacy, of Loyal, was called and she is reported better.
