Fred Garvin cut his foot very bad last week while at work in on J. Bryden’s camps, severing one big toe and nearly two others. Mr. Byrden brought him home Sunday.
George Castner is very sick with pneumonia. Dr. Lyman has him in charge.
Al Lawrence is hardly able to get around the store.
Mrs. Lawrence and daughter, mother and sister of Al Lawrence, are visiting with him.
Henry Peats intends to start for Adams County this week, to visit his friends.
School closed last week in District No. 1. They had an old-fashioned spelling school last Friday evening. Mrs. S.W. Bolton was teacher.
