School began in District No. 2, the 26th. Miss Flora Cannen, of Loyal, is teacher.

Mr. C.L. Young has moved back on his farm. He has been living in Loyal the past winter.

Miss Cynthia Adams returned home last week from Menomonie, where she has been visiting friends.

George Drake moved from S.A. Wilcox’s farm where he has lived for the past three years. He has moved onto Ira Robbins’ farm in Fremont.

Mr. Tishes, of the Windfall, has moved on the farm of Wilcox.

C.H. Benedict and Dan Davidson have gone to Eagle, above Wausau, to look land, and to work.

The ladies of York Center are going to have a basket sociable at the cheese factory Friday evening, May 1st. Proceeds to go to Rev. J. Connor. A general invitation is extended to all.
