Schoelzel, Helena (6 OCT 1915)

Miss Helena Schoelzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Schoelzel of the town of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), and Herbert Meyers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyers of Green Grove (Clark Co.), were united in marriage at St. John’s Ev. German Church in this city, on Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 6th, 1915, at 2 o’clock, in the presence of a large number of relatives and admiring friends. Rev. M. Lienk performed the ceremony. Their attendants were Misses Stella Meyers and Meta Schoelzel, and Messrs. John Salter and Frankling Meyers.

After the ceremony the bridal couple, attendants, relatives and invited friends autoed out to the home of the bride’s parents, where a wedding supper was served and the usual festivities held, which like on all such occasions lasted until it was light enough for the guests to see their way home.

The Phonograph joins in wishing them a long and happy life.

The outside relatives present to attend the wedding were: Mrs. Rudolph Schoelzel, Mrs. Robert Schoelzel, Mrs. Charles Schoelzel, Mrs. Emma Spiering, of Chicago; Ferd. Schulz and daughter of Plainview, Minn., and Franklin Meyers of Madison.
