Married, at St. Mary’s Church in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), Tuesday, at 9:00 a.m., Father H.J. Artmann officiating, Mr. Henry Meiers of Appleton, Wis., and Miss Hilda Altenberger of the town of Colby. The young couple were attended by Wm. Altenberger of the town of Colby and Mr. Touscheck of Appleton, as groomsmen, and Miss Rose Meiers of Appleton and Miss Francis Altenberger of the town of Colby as bridesmaids.
The bride was attired in a gown of white satin and embroidered net and carried a bouquet of white roses and pink carnations. The bridesmaids were dressed in pale blue and pink silk crepe. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to the residence of the bride’s parents, where they were served with a wedding dinner, followed by an afternoon and evening of celebration.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Altenberger of the town of Colby and is very well and favorably known among her friends. The groom is a prosperous young businessman of Appleton, where Mr. Meiers has prepared a home, where they will be ready to receive their friends in the future.
