Altenberger, Frances (23 MAY 1916)
Married, at St. Mary’s Church in this city, Tuesday morning, May 23rd, 1916, by Rev. H.J. Artmann, Miss Frances Altenberger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Altenberger of the town of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. John Tauschek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tauschek of Luxemburg, Kewaunee Co., Wis. The young couple were attended by Miss Lydia Altenberger, sister of the bride, and Mr. Louis Tauschek, brother of the groom.
The bride was attired in a gown of white satin messaline trimmed with net embroidery, and carried a bouquet of white roses and lilies of the valley. The bridesmaid wore a pale pink silk gown. After the ceremony the bridal party autoed to the home of the bride’s parents, where they partook of an excellent wedding dinner, and with relatives celebrated the happy event during the afternoon and evening.
The young couple expect to depart today for Luxemburg, where the groom has a home prepared for his bride. They will be followed by the very best wishes of hosts of friends.
