Wolk, Anna (24 MAY 1916)

Oscar Dix, junior member of the firm of Dix Bros., this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Anna Wolk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Wolk of the town of Hull (Marathon Co., Wis.), were married at Ev. St. John’s German Church, Wednesday, May 24th, 1916, Rev. Peper officiating. They were attended by Miss Emma Wolk, sister of the bride, Miss Helen Nagel, Walter Wolk, brother of the bride, and Chas. Sabler. After the ceremony they returned by autos to the home of the bride’s parents, where a wedding dinner was served to the bridal party, near relatives and a few young friends. A town of Hull band of twenty-five pieces gave they a pleasant (?) serenade about 10 o’clock p.m.

The young couple left on the 8:25 train this morning, to spend the balance of the week with Oscar’s parents in Neenah.

They will be at home to their friends in their residence on Second St., after June 1st.
