Meyer, Anna (8 AUG 1916)
(Glidden, Wis. Enterprise)
The marriage of Miss Anna Meyer to Mr. Albert Conrad of Colby, was solemnized at the Catholic Church Tuesday morning when nuptial high mass was celebrated by Rev. Father Dickopf. The attending couples were Misses Mary and Katie Meyer and Mr. John Conrad and Joseph Meyer Jr.
Following the ceremony a very delightful reception with a dance and refreshments were held at the Meyer home in honor of the event, and which was attended and enjoyed by a large number of the friends of the contracting persons.
Mr. Conrad owns Birch Grove Dairy Farm near Colby and is a very estimable young man, while Miss Meyer has lived all her life in Glidden and needs no introduction here. That their married life will be pleasant goes without question and their many acquaintances join in wishing them well.
Those from out of the village who attended the wedding were: Ferdinand Conrad and Mrs. Ulrich of Colby, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyer, Mrs. Edwards and Miss Nemac of Ashland.
The happy couple will make their future home at Colby.
