Olson, Clara (4 NOV 1916)
Miss Clara Olson of Centuria, Wis., and Mr. Oakley L. Parkhill of Abbotsford, Wis., were married at the home of the bride’s parents in Centuria, on Saturday, Nov. 4, 1916.
The couple arrived at Abbotsford Sunday afternoon, and on Monday evening a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents, Mrs. and Mrs. George B. Parkhill, being attended by relatives only.
The bride was dressed in satin charmeuse and georgette crepe, and the groom wore a happy smile and a black suit.
At 10:30 the guests partook of a wedding dinner. The dining room was trimmed with smilax and red roses.
A very pleasant evening was spent and many useful presents were received by the bride and groom. Mr. and Mrs. Parkhill will be at home to their many friends after Dec. 1st, at Abbotsford, Wis.
