Miss Lois Smithers has gone to Hickory Grove, Minnesota, to visit her sisters.
Herbert Gibson has gone to Fond du Lac, to work this coming summer.
They are well satisfied with the result at George Rowe’s. It’s an 8 lb boy.
The Good Templars had a poverty supper at their hall the evening of the 22nd. A good time is reported.
A number of people of this neighborhood met at Sol Haines’ corner the other night to see a couple of our young men pound each other, but one of the parties had the courage to stay away. If this happens again Bob Campbell will be invited out to witness it, and that would not sound well for York.
