Huntley, Thomas (1853? - Jan. 1938)
The passing of another Clark County pioneer, Thomas Huntley was announced Wednesday morning in a message to his nephew, Wm. Huntley, of this city. He died at Yakima, Wash., where he made his home with his daughter, Viola, Mrs. Chadbolt.
Mr. Huntley was about 84 years old. He settled on a farm in the town of Weston soon after the Civil War on land purchased by his brother, William. Later he and his family moved to La Crosse, where he worked as construction engineer for the Burlington R. R. Co.
He leaves three children, Harley, conductor for the Omaha and Northwestern out of Minneapolis; Mrs. Leana Maxwell of St. Louis and Mrs. Chadbolt.
Funeral services will be held at La Crosse Saturday afternoon, and the remains will be interred beside his wife.
