Potter, Guy (1876? - 22 Feb. 1938)
Burial rites for Guy Potter, 61, were held Friday afternoon from the Lowe Funeral Home, Rev. G. W. Longenecker conducting the services. Short Odd Fellow services were also conducted at the grave by Sam Newton and Norman Fristad. Interment took place in the family lot at the Neillsville Cemetery.
Mr. Potter passed away Tuesday afternoon, at 3:30 at the Neillsville hospital after an illness covering a long period of time, being confined to the Wisconsin General Hospital and the local hospital for several months. He was a member of the Odd Fellow lodge for about 12 years.
Only one relative - a cousin - Earl White, of Wausau, could be located, but he could not be present on account of illness in his family. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
The pallbearers were: Geo. Burdick, Wm. Carskhadden, Wm. Foote, Robert Frantz, Elmer Keller and Wm. Tischer and other Odd Fellows who paid their respects to the departed brother were: Harry Albright, Fred Bullard, Art Chubb, Geo. Frantz, J. Huntley, E. Kleckner, A. Klopf, Herbert McNaul, B. J. Peterson, Earl Rose, Geo. Ure, Horace Vandeberg, Chas. White and Mr. Wendt.
