Welch, Amy Olga (Marriage - 6 Aug. 2005)

The celebration of Holy Matrimony of Amy Olga Welch and Gerald Allen Asp was held Aug. 6, 2005, at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Thorp.

The Rev. Thaddeus Wojcik of Holy Assumption Church in Lublin officiated the Orthodox ceremony. Irene Jasinski led the choir in song.

Parents of the bride are James and Mary Welch. The groom's parents are the late Robert Asp and the late Nancy Asp, and Patricia Asp-Zealley, step-mother.

Matron of honor was Angie Ritter. Bridesmaids were Janet Asp, Julia Bakatiyarova and Kate Dahl. Flower girl was Kathryn Asp.

Nathan Kailhofer was best man. Groomsmen were Wesley Adams, Matt Welch and Sam Welch. Ringbearer was Joey Ritter.

Ushering guests were Daniel Asp and John Welch. Following the ceremony, a reception and dance were held at the Thorp Legion Hall.

They live in Milwaukee.
