GRANTON -- Margaret J. Pederson, 87, of Granton died July 27, 2006, at Memorial Medical Center in Neillsville, Wis.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2006, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Neillsville, Wis. Burial will be in Sherwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

She was born March 27, 1919, in Bethesda, Tenn., to Frank and Cynthia (White) Brumbach. She married Merle Pederson on Jan. 16, 1943. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1999. The couple farmed in the town of West Cary. The owned and operated Deer Trail Cafe in the town of Sherwood from 1965 until 1973.

Surviving are her sons, Charles Pederson, Sparta, and Leroy Pederson, Granton; daughters, Carol (Kenneth) Blattler, Curtiss, and Betty (Robert) Langreck, Germantown; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons; a brother, Jim (Gerry) Pederson, Marshfield; and her sister, Letah Popenhagen, Richmond, Ill.
