H. J. Sumner made a trip to Marshfield Thursday to get some repairs for the drilling machine.
Mrs. C. Healy left Tuesday for Revillo, S. D. where she will visit for a short time with the family of her son, E.W. who resides at that place. She was accompanied by her son, J. H. Healy, of Neenah and his son, Kenith.
O. C. Haman has sold his farm, composed of 108 acres, located ¾ of a mile north of the village, to John Morgan of Fond du Lac for the consideration of $3000 and by arrangement Mr. Haman will remain in possession until next fall. Mr. Morgan is a brother of W. E. Morgan, who purchased the M. P. Thayer farm in the town of Unity, last fall.
While cutting brush last week the little son of Geo. Hannawalt received an injury to one of his yes that may prove fatal to that organ. A briar bush, which he was cutting, struck him in the eye, leaving three of the thorns in the eyeball. Mr. Hannawalt took the boy to Milwaukee Monday and left him in charge of Dr. Schnider, to be operated upon.
