WILLARD -- Robert Leon Brom, 64, of Willard, died Friday, July 21, 2006, at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, Wis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brom's home on Mead Lake, N10246 Lazy Lane, Willard.
Cuddie Funeral Home of Greenwood is assisting the family with arrangements.
He was born Sept. 6, 1941, in Beaver Dam to Floyd and Margaret (Rabehl) Brom. He served in Germany with the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963. He married Janice Denk in Milwaukee on Sept. 23, 1967. A printer, he taught printing at Milwaukee Rehabilitation Center until buying North Mound Tavern near Willard and moving to Mead Lake in 1974. He sold the tavern in 1978 and then taught printing at the Eau Claire Rehabilitation Center. He last ran the print shop for the Lac Courte Oreilles Indian tribe in Hayward, retiring due to ill health.
He is survived by his wife, Janice, Willard; two sons, Bryan (Tara) Brom, Coloma, and Nathan Brom, River Falls.
