KRAUT - MAURINA FUNERAL HOME, INC.
Funeral Homes Serving Owen - Dorchester - Abbotsford
607 Eat 4th Street, Owen, Wisconsin
The Maurina Funeral Service was established in the Owen-Withee area on January 1, 1973, when a corporation was formed known as the Kraut-Maurina and in Jun 1975 included the purchase of the former Polnaszek Funeral Home in Abbotsford, serving families in Owen-Withee, Dorchester, Abbotsford and surrounding areas.
Mr. Maurina purchased Donald Kraut's interest in the three locations and since January of 1979, has operated as Maurina Funeral and Cremation Service, Inc.
Since that time, all three funeral homes have been renovated. The Owen Funeral Home has been remodeled with a large chapel area and is handicapped accessible. Refreshment facilities are also offered for family needs.
Maurina Monument Service was established in 1962, offering a large choice of markers and monuments with quality design and engraving.
Jim Maurina was born and raised on the family farm north of Owen and was united in marriage to the former Barbara Le Page of Withee. They and their son, Scott Maurina, who is also a funeral director, continue to serve and comfort those in need of their services.
