Lound, Alice (Marriage - 14 May 1938)
Otto Zaeske and Miss Alice Lound of Tomahawk were united in marriage at Cresco, Iowa, May 14, 1938, Rev. L. W. Muench performing the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Valdemar Johnson of that city attended the couple.
Mr. Zaeske came to Neillsville in 1916 to work for the Oatman Condensed Milk Company, and later went on the road for the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York as a salesman. His work along that line has been most successful and since 1928 he has been a district manager.
His bride is a daughter of the University of Wisconsin, a charming young woman and a capable and efficient teacher. As English and Latin instructor in Neillsville high school for the past five years her work was outstanding. Her many friends and the patrons and pupils of Neillsville schools are pleased to welcome her to this city as a permanent resident.
The couple left last Wednesday for San Francisco, California, to attend the national convention of the quarter million field club of the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York, to be held in that city June 3 and 4, planning to spend their honeymoon in the west. They expect to return to the east about June 27 and will attend a convention at St. Paul before coming home to Neillsville, Wis.
Their many friends wish them unbounded happiness and success.
