Mrs. Sadie Redman of the Town of Sherwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Carl A. Nelson of Greenwood (Clark Co.) were united in marriage at the home of the groom’s sister, Mrs. Gladys Krogness, living north of the city limits, on Wednesday, November 4, 1936 at 12 o’clock noon, Rev. G. Longenecker of Neillsville officiated.
The bride wore a floor length wine colored velvet gown and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Mrs. Gladys Krogness, sister of the groom, as bridesmaid, wore a rust colored silk gown and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. The groom was attended by Lloyd Haimer.
Only immediate relatives were present and twelve were served at dinner. The home was prettily decorated in pink and white streamers.
The newlyweds will make their home on the groom’s farm on Route 4.
Out of town guests were Mrs. I.G. Emerson of Oak Park, Ill., and Mrs. G. Longenecker of Neillsville, Wis.
The Gleaner joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a happy wedded life.
