Paschke, Julia (31 JUL 1937)
A very pretty wedding was solemnized Saturday afternoon July 31, 1937 at 2:30 o’clock at the West Side Parsonage when Miss Julia Paschke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Paschke of the town of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.) and Norman Jackson, son of Mrs. Celia Jackson of this city, were united in marriage by the Rev. Paul Franzmeier. The double ring ceremony being used.
The bride wore an ankle length gown of lace over satin and a long veil held in place by a cornet of pearls. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses.
Her attendants, the Misses Ina, Bertha and Vivian Hahto, were all dressed in blue silk organdie trimmed with pink and all wore shoulder corsages of mixed flowers.
The groom and his attendants, Gordon Jackson, John Paschke and George Acker, all wore dark suits.
After a visit here with relatives and friends they will return to Milwaukee where they both have employment.
A wedding dance was given in the evening at Merry Ol’ Gardens.
The Gleaner joins their many friends in extending congratulations and best wishes.
