I am looking for information and Pictures on a soda fountain that my grandma worked at in the town of Neillsville, Wis. Thanks! dkalsow@yahoo.com

Do you know the name of the Soda Fountain, its location or the name of the owner? stan@wiclarkcountyhistory.org

The soda fountain was in the Kearns Drug store in Neillsville, WI.  That is all I know. dkalsow@yahoo.com

Kearns Drug store was a wooden warehouse owned by James Hewett. On the corner was the pride of the town, the first solid brick structure erected in Clark County, which was put up Hewett & Woods in 1872.  The firm used it as a general store, specialized in supplies for loggers. Mr. Marsh bought the property in 1887, occupying it for years with his dry goods, clothing and shoe business.  Later, it became Rexall Drugs until it closed out and was then occupied by Floral Creations. stan@wiclarkcountyhistory.org
