Hans Amundson

Friday morning Nov 10th after an illness covering a period of nearly two years, Death called one of Unity’s old respected citizens, H. Amundson to his final rest.

The deceased was born at Sandsver, Norway on Dec. 24, 1829.

He was united in marriage to Geogine Johnson in the year of 1877 and together they came to this country in 1879 settling in Unity.

He is survived by one son, Arnie, who has a responsible position with the W. C. R. R. at Abbotsford, Wis. His wife died in 1895.

The funeral was held from the school house Sunday, Rev. James officiating. The number of friends in attendance bespoke the esteem in which he was held by his fellow citizens.
