Obituary

After a few days of sickness Mrs. Lettia Eckles passed away Saturday evening Oct 19th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. E. Creed in this village.

Death was due to old age, the deceased having attained the ripe age of eighty-four years.

She was born in Albi, Genessee County, N. Y. in 1819.(She) removed with her husband to Wisconsin in 1842 settling at Plover, where she has since resided. She is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Julia Altenberg of Dancy; Mrs. Phoebe Altenberg of Plover; and Mrs. E. Creed of this city.

The remains were taken to Plover Monday for interment.
