Last Wednesday afternoon John Anderson of this village and Miss Amelia Carlson of Chicago planned a little surprise for their many friends without taking anyone into their confidence they drove out to the home of Justice Ben Lange in the town of McMillan and had his Honor pronounce the words that binds them together until death do them part.
The bride is a much esteemed young lady who has many friends in this vicinity. She is a sister to Mrs. A. E. Carlson of the town of Brighton.
The groom is a well known and highly respected young man who has resided at Romeo where he is interested in a sawmill until quite recently.
The couple will make their home in this village.
