Norman Brown, 62 year-old farmer of Ojibwa passed away at the hospital of Ladysmith Thursday, August 11. Interment took place in the family lot at Greenwood Sunday, services being held in the M. E. Church at 2 o’clock.
Mr. Brown was born at Mankato, Minnesota, Feb. 25, 1876, and when a young lad his parents moved to a farm south of Neillsville where they logged. Mr. Brown left that home in 1905 after residing there for 17 years, living for a time near Greenwood and later at Ojibwa. He never married.
At the time of his death he was survived by two brothers, Bert of Ojibwa and Hubert of Red Lake Falls, Minn., and a sister of Mrs. Ella Short of Neillsville, Wis. Monday word came that Bert had passed away this being the third death in the Brown family within a very short time.
