Hazel St. John
NEILLSVILLE -- Hazel St. John, 91, of Oak Forest, Ill., formerly of Neillsville, died on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, at St. Frances Hospital in Blue Island, Illinois.
Hazel Eunice St. John was born on May 15, 1915, in Minot, N.D., the daughter of William Ernest and Madeline (Schiltz) Poler. She was united in marriage to Oliver Williams on Nov. 19, 1935, in Neillsville, Wis. He preceded her in death in 1980. She was then married to Victor St. John. Victor passed away in October of 2005.
She is survived by her children, Jean (Nathan) Vandeberg of Merrillan, Rodger Williams of Granton, Wendell (Jeanine) Williams of Granton, Sharen (Bill) Brock of Oak Forest, Ill., and Marvin (Sue) Williams of Turtle Lake; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert (Wanda) Poler of Neillsville, Wis.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the United Church of Christ in Neillsville, Wis. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Gesche Funeral Home, and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
The Gesche Funeral Home of Neillsville is assisting Hazel's family with arrangements.
