Happe, Wesley (9 Dec. 1916 - 24 Aug. 1938)
Fatally injured in an auto accident at Ripon August 24, Wesley Happe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Happe Sr., formerly of the town of Fremont, now of Ripon, died at the age of 21 Wednesday. Funeral services were held August 28 in the Ripon Evangelical Church with the assistance of Rev. Deikvass of Ripon, Rev. G. W. Zimmerman of Bredhead, Rev. E. A. Happe of Batavia, Rev. Harvey Bandt of Prairie Farm and Rev. Firtch of Ripon.
The deceased was born in Fremont Dec. 9, 1916, and is a graduate of the Cozy Corner district school, Granton High school and the teacher’s training department of Neillsville high, being well remembered by a host of classmates and friends in Clark county. After receiving a teacher’s certificate, he taught school two and a half years near Stanley.
