WILLARD -- Lavonne J. Horvat, 73, Willard, died on Monday, Aug. 28, 2006, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with prayer service at 8 p.m. today at Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, and from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard.

Lavonne Joyce Henninger was born on March 2, 1933, in Granton, to Emil and Helen (nee Bender) Henninger. She married Rudy Horvat on Oct. 30, 1952, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Willard. They raised their family on a farm south of Willard. Following her husband's death on July 25, 1989, she continued to farm until retiring in 2000.

Survivors include her children, Dennis Horvat, Greenwood, Lavonne Lindner, Marshfield, Cynthia (Jim) Bolf, Greenwood, Camille (Dave) Genteman, Granton, Scott Horvat, Willard, Steve Horvat, Willard, Sheila (Harold) Briski, Withee, Lisa (John) Richmond, Granton, and Grace (Jim) Genteman, Loyal; 37 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one brother, Vernon (Marliss) Henninger, Mercer; and one sister, Audrey (Jerry) Klein, Texas.
