Donald William Bowen, age 18 years, died Monday morning shortly before noon at the Legault Hospital, after an illness of nearly a week, following an attack of post operative pneumonia.
The young man was brought to the hospital suffering with an attack of appendicitis to which he submitted to an operation, and which proved successful. Shortly after he developed a case of pneumonia, and in his weakened condition was not able to stand the shock of the operation and the illness too.
