Hilton, Esther (3 AUG 1930)

A very pretty wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Hilton of Maplehurst (Taylor Co., Wis.) last Sunday when their daughter, Esther, was united in marriage to Harve Clinton, only son of Phillip Clinton of Holoway, Rev. Sigglekow of Withee officiating.

The bride wore a gown of white satin faced crepe fashioned with a fitted bodice flare skirt edged with a lace flounce. She wore white kid slippers to match. Her bouquet was of sweet peas and baby breath. Her veil hung from a coronet of orange blossoms. Mrs. Clytia Smith, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and wore a gown of pink organdie. Her bouquet was of pink sweet peas and ferns.

William Millikin acted as the groom’s attendant.

Only intimate friends and relatives were present at the wedding. The newlyweds left for a short honeymoon trip. They will make their home on the groom’s farm in the town of Holoway. Both bride and groom are well known and highly respected young people of their community and have a host of friends who extend congratulations.
