A home wedding was solemnized Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 12, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Decker of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), when their daughter, Miss Elsie, became the bride of Mr. Harold Fillip of Owen (Clark Co.), Rev. Frantsmeyer officiating. The young couple were attended by Aaron Sturgeon of this city, and Miss Eleanor Decker, sister of the bride. The ceremony taking place at four o’clock in the afternoon.
The bride for the past year and a half has been employed at Neenah, but previous to her employment there was employed in this city. She has a large acquaintance here, who will wish her happiness in her wedded life.
Mr. Fillip is one of Owen’s promising young men, a graduate of the Owen High School, and for the past two years has held a position with the State Bank of Owen, as bookkeeper. In this position he has made numerous friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Fillip left that evening, following a fine wedding dinner, for a ten days motor trip through southern Wisconsin and Illinois.
