Nelson, Mable (11 OCT 1930)

Stanley McFarland, Stanley, a former baker of the Golden Crust Bakery, and Miss Mable Nelson of Hancock, were quietly married Saturday afternoon at 5 o’clock at Minneapolis. The service taking place in the Methodist Church of that city, with the Rev. Roy E. Smith officiating. The young couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Turner of Minneapolis, close friends of the groom.

Mr. McFarland for six years was baker here and in that time made many friends. His wife for the past three years has taught school near Hancock, Wis., and in the vacation time spent her time here working in the Clifton restaurant.

Following the wedding a fine dinner was served to immediate friends, among whom were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth King of this city. The young couple have the best wishes of their friends here for a happy wedded life.

Mr. and Mrs. McFarland have taken up housekeeping at Stanley, where Mr. McFarland is the owner of a large bakery at that place.
