The marriage of Miss Marian Griffith to Edward Wendt, both of this city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), took place on Wednesday of last week at the home of the groom’s uncle, Rev. Wendt of Chicago. The latter performed the ceremony.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Griffith and has been assisting in her father’s meat market for some time.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wendt and is a graduate of the Owen High School. During the past year he has been employed as salesman at the Fair Store.

After visiting friends and relatives in Chicago and Gary, Ind., the newlyweds have returned and will go to housekeeping in the rooms formerly occupied by F.E. Anderson. Both bride and groom are well known in this community and have a host of friends who wish them success and happiness in their wedded life.
