The marriage of Miss Alice Whittemore, to Emil Hanke, both of Waukesha, Wis., took place on Saturday, December 27th, at Marshfield, Wis. The Rev. Olson performed the ceremony.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Whittemore of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), and during the past seven eyars has been employed in Waukesha.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Albertine Hanke of Waukesha.
The bride was dressed in an ankle length ivory satin dress and wearing a veil trimmed with a spray of orange blossoms. She carried a bouquet of roses and baby breath.
The bridesmaid, a sister of the bride, Miss Ruth Whittemore, was dressed in an ankle length yellow dress and carried a bouquet of baby breath.
The best man was a brother of the bride, James Whittemore.
After the ceremony a seven o’clock dinner was served at the house of the bride’s parents. The dining room was prettily decorated in pink and white, these same colors were used in the table decorations.
The bride and groom visited the groom’s brother at Port Edwards, after which they will be at their home January 6th.
