Wesenberg, Mrs. Della (Marriage - 16 Oct. 1938)
On Saturday, October 15, at 2:30 o’clock the Melford Williams home was the scene of a very pretty wedding in which Mrs. Della Wesenberg became the pride of Mr. Morris Bascombe of Waukesha. The bride was dressed in light blue shantung trimmed in white and carried a mixed bouquet of flowers. Mrs. Herman Johnson was maid of honor and wore flowered crepe. The groom and best man was dressed in black.
Mrs. Bascombe grew to womanhood in Neillsville and lived in this vicinity many years. She is well known and has many friends here. The groom’s home was at Waukesha.
The rooms and table decorations were blue and white. There were many pretty flowers and a bountiful lunch was served to about 30 friends. Miss J. Blum and Mesdames Marden and Webster sang "Under His Wings" while H. E. Webster performed the ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Bascombe will make their home in Neillsville, Wis.
