Dziubinski, Emil (1913 - 2 OCT 1931)
Emil Dziubinski died at the Legault Hospital last Friday morning. He was the second victim of an automobile crash on Highway 29, east of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), which occurred on September 19. His father, A. Dziubinski, and nephew, Dr. Thomas, arrived in Owen Friday morning and had the remains shipped to their home at Holdingford, Minn.
Mr. Dziubinski was 18 years of age. He was a graduate of the Holdingford High School and was a star football and basketball player while at school. Since the accident he was considered on the road to recovery in spite of a skull fracture, broken leg, and a compound fracture of one arm. An embolism was the cause of his death.
His mother, Mrs. Dziubinski, 60, was killed outright in the accident, which occurred when the car ran into a concrete culvert. The drivey, Leo Lichy, fell asleep at the wheel.
Miss Helen Dziubinski, 20, remains at the hospital in a serious condition. Her left leg was so badly crushed that amputation was necessary, and her right leg is also broken.
Philip Dziubinski, 16, who received a skull fracture, a crushed nose, and a broken jaw, has been dismissed from the hospital. Lichy was only slightly injured.
