Whittemore, Elizabeth (1880 - 30 MAR 1932)

Mrs. Elizabeth Whittemore, age 52, wife of C.A. Whittemore, died at her home one mile west of the village of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) early Wednesday morning. She had been ailing in health for a number of years, and had been confined to her bed since early in November, suffering with heart trouble, which eventually caused her death.

Mrs. Whittemore was the mother of twelve children, and had resided on their farm with her husband for the past thirty years. She was a native of Germany and came to this country when a young child. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her large family.

Funeral services will take place Saturday afternoon, the Rev. W.P. Powell of the Owen Congregational Church officiating, and burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.

The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of their numerous friends at this sad time.
