Buss, Emma (27 JUN 1931)
An afternoon wedding ceremony Saturday, June 27, united Miss Emma Buss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Buss, and Mr. Raymond Klessig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Klessig, both of the town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.).
The ceremony was solemnized in the parsonage at Colby by Rev. H.K. Hartmann.
The vows were taken in the presence of Miss Anna Buss, sister of the bride, and Percy Lehmann, who were the attendants.
At 6:30 o’clock, a wedding supper was served at the bride’s home at which the immediate relatives were present.
After supper their many friends gathered to wish them a happy wedded life.
The bride wore a dress of white satin, she carried a bouquet of peonies and roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of yellow satin and lace while the groom wore the conventional morning suit.
The newlyweds left Sunday for a short trip to the Dells and other place of interest and will be at home after July 1 at Mr. Klessig’s farm at Curtiss (Clark Co.).
