St. Hedwig’s Church at Thorp was the scene of a pretty wedding Sunday morning at eight o’clock, when Miss Sophie Dobrzynski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Val Dobrzynski, resident of the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), was united in marriage to Mr. Wallace Kozlowski, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kozlowski of Owen, Wis. The young couple were attended by Miss Irene Kozlowski, sister of the groom, and Mr. Andrew Dobrzynski, a brother of the bride.
Following the services at the church, the wedding party went to the home of the bride’s parents, where a bounteous wedding breakfast was served and a reception held. In the evening, a wedding dance took place at the Black River Tourist Park. The following day the young couple left for a few days wedding trip, visiting with relatives and friends in the Twin Cities. Mr. Kozlowski is the owner of the Dew Drop Inn Restaurant, and they will make this city their home.
