Durst, Leone (Marriage - 29 Oct. 1938)
A church wedding was solemnized at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 29, at the German Reformed church at Humbird when Miss Leone Durst, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Durst of Fairchild became the bride of Mr. Edwin Scholze, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Scholze of Humbird. Rev. Wiedler performed the ceremony, the couple using the single ring ceremony. Miss Durst was attired in teal blue and carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums. She was attended by her sister, Miss Vivian Durst. The groom was attended by his brother, Lewis.
After the ceremony relatives of the couple were entertained at a wedding dinner at the home of the bride’s parents. Both of these young people are well known in this community and the best wishes of the many friends are extended to them in their new walk of life.
