Mr. and Mrs. William Gruhlke of Fairchild recently announced the marriage of their youngest daughter, Eleanor, to Clifford Kurtzweg of Neillsville, Wis.
The couple was married during the holidays, December 28, 1937, at Waukon, Iowa, by Rev. Frank Stucki, formerly of Neillsville, Wis.
The bride is a graduate of Fairchild high school and of the Eau Claire State Teacher’s college and taught in Eau Claire County.
The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kurtzweg of the town of Levis. He is employed in the Gruhlke machine shop at Fairchild.
The couple traveled through the southern Wisconsin and parts of Iowa on a honeymoon trip.
