Armitage, Dorothy (Marriage - 22 Nov. 1938)
Miss Dorothy Armitage of Weston Township and Clarence Ratsch of the town of Grant were married Tuesday afternoon, November 22, at the Lutheran parsonage in Neillsville, Rev. Wm. A. Baumann officiating. Dale Armitage, a brother of the bride, and Miss Mary Ratsch, the groom’s sister, attended the couple.
Mrs. Ratsch was graduated from Neillsville high school in 1935 and has since assisted her mother on the farm, with the exception of a few months when she worked in one of the offices at the court house. Her domestic training has fitted her well for the home over which she will preside.
The groom has spent his life on the farm and in the spring will rent a farm where he and his wife will begin a home of their own. For the winter months they will remain with their respective parents.
A supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents for immediate relatives, following there ceremony.
